om26erHi! Does Travis CI support building snaps using multipass ?17:38

om26erhey cjwatson, launchpad is having a hard time uploading my snap to store https://launchpad.net/~build.snapcraft.io/+snap/c7f9e9a2d76707f5da7a8175b964b834/+build/73160418:24
om26erits built but lp is trying to uploaded for quite a few minutes18:24
roadmrsergiusens: hey there! snapcraft is taking about 7 seconds to run (even something simple like snapcraft register), and this appears to have happened/regressed recently. Does this ring a bell?18:26
sergiusensroadmr: snapcraft from stable has not changed in the past two months18:27
sergiusensroadmr: but I did see it run slow yesterday18:27
roadmr(it's causing our store test run to fail because the "registers names too fast" behavior is not triggered with snapcraft taking this long for each name heheh18:27
sergiusensroadmr: oh, our integration tests were running just fine18:28
roadmrinteresting.. do you run the store tests too?18:28
roadmr-vvv -b -s tests/integration/store -t .18:29
sergiusensroadmr: here's one from yesterday https://travis-ci.org/snapcore/snapcraft/jobs/61081422618:30
roadmryay!18:30
roadmrright, test_registrations_in_a_row_fail_if_too_fast is what's failing for us but it passed here18:30
roadmr"snapcraft list" (does nothing, just prints an error) takes a full 4 seconds to run18:31
om26erall 4 jobs are "uploading build" https://launchpad.net/~build.snapcraft.io/+snap/c7f9e9a2d76707f5da7a8175b964b834 and I don't have admin permissions to force rebuild18:39
om26er:-(18:40

roadmrhey folks - inside an lxc container snaps mounted with snapfuse are significantly slower than those mounted using squashfuse; but the only way I found to make a snap be mounted with squashfuse is by snap downloading and installing it --dangerously, which is icky. Is there a way to make them use squashfuse always?19:53
=== Emilia is now known as Guest66259
zygaroadmr: I think that was recently fixed21:00
zygaroadmr: ask mvo about it please21:01
* cachio eod21:13
roadmrzyga: will do! we sort of fixed it by installing squashfuse *before* installing any snaps in the container, then they use squashfuse which is 3x faster for some reason21:28
zygaroadmr: there are two builds of squashfuse21:28
zygaroadmr: one is fast other is slow21:28
zygaroadmr: it's a build time option21:28
zygaroadmr: we flipped the switch on one of the builds21:28
roadmrzyga: ahh I see :)21:29
