guivercbibi_, if you have a Lubuntu support question, please ask it and someone will respond when/if they can00:06
kc2bezLargePrime: It looks like you may be trying to install the eoan version of Palemoon on bionic. The version of libc6 is 2.30 in eoan and 2.27 in bionic.00:23
kc2bez!info libc6 bionic00:24
ubottulibc6 (source: glibc): GNU C Library: Shared libraries. In component main, is required. Version 2.27-3ubuntu1 (bionic), package size 2758 kB, installed size 11877 kB00:24
kc2bez!info libc6 eoan00:24
ubottulibc6 (source: glibc): GNU C Library: Shared libraries. In component main, is required. Version 2.30-0ubuntu2 (eoan), package size 2661 kB, installed size 13272 kB00:24
kc2bezlbuntoonewb: We should run through those commands one at a time. No need to make a script if they are not going to work.00:25
lbuntoonewbso, do I ignore the first line and paste ther est?00:26
lbuntoonewb#!/bin/sh00:26
lbuntoonewbecho 349 > /sys/class/gpio/export00:26
lbuntoonewbecho low >/sys/class/gpio/gpio349/direction00:26
lbuntoonewbsleep 100:26
lbuntoonewbecho high >/sys/class/gpio/gpio349/direction00:26
kc2bezYou can't paste directly into the chat the bot will silence you. You have to use something like paste.ubuntu.com00:27
kc2bez!paste00:27
ubottuFor posting multi-line texts into the channel, please use https://paste.ubuntu.com | To post !screenshots use https://imgur.com/ !pastebinit to paste directly from command line | Make sure you give us the URL for your paste - see also the channel topic.00:27
kc2beztry the echo 349 >/sys/class/gpio/export line in the terminal and see what happens00:28
lbuntoonewbtest00:35
kc2bezYou are back00:35
lbuntoonewbregardless, testing the lines one by one doesn't work00:35
lbuntoonewbI tried the script at the bottom of this page: https://www.reddit.com/r/Atomic_Pi/wiki/ubuntu00:35
lbuntoonewbalso tried the variant here: https://old.reddit.com/r/Atomic_Pi/comments/bssotr/mayfield_audio_drivers/00:37
kc2bezwhat happens when you issue "sudo echo 349 >/sys/class/gpio/export" in the terminal00:42
lbuntoonewb"permission denied"00:42
kc2bezyou typed sudo?00:42
lbuntoonewbI went and looked in the file explorer, and there's a file there, but I can't figure out how to open it or read it00:42
lbuntoonewbyes, that's the second thing I tried00:42
lbuntoonewbif a command doesn't work, always try sudo00:43
kc2bezOk one line at a time though.00:43
lbuntoonewbwhat is that command even supposed to do?00:43
lbuntoonewbI also tried the chmod on the second link, and tried the commands again... and still permission denied00:43
kc2bezAccording to the directions it should toggle the audio chip gpio pin low then high00:44
lbuntoonewbecho isn't a command to do stuff though, it just prints to the command line00:44
kc2bezthe > symbol outputs that to a file00:44
lbuntoonewbso we're trying to write a number to a random file? that doesn't make any sense00:45
kc2bezsomething must be reading that file00:46
kc2bezif you just do the "sudo echo 349 >/sys/class/gpio/export" part in the terminal what happens?00:46
kc2bezIf it works it shouldn't return anything00:47
lbuntoonewbbash: /sys/class/gpio/export: Permission denied00:48
lbuntoonewbjust like I've told you 3 times already00:48
lbuntoonewbI made a shell script and ran it and this is what I get: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/m7nBSPRQs2/01:05
lbuntoonewbI followed this guide: http://www.linuxandubuntu.com/home/how-to-create-shell-scripts01:05
kc2bezI think your script is probably ok but there is something missing in terms of a driver or whatnot. I would try reaching out on the atomic pi support. It looks like they put some extras in the image they promote.01:08
