[22:05] <jiffe> ok so I ran memtest86 and that passed with no errors, smartctl indicates no disk errors, so I'm not sure why ubuntu server install keeps failing

[22:06] <jiffe> only thing different is I'm using a different disk as I'm not prepared to blow away the original yet
