[16:32] <nsh> oomkiller used to just kill firefox [tabs] when running out of memory, but now it quite often ends my entire xfce/lightdm session

[16:48] <nsh> all results associated with "session-c5-scope killing process" relate to suspend/resume or the disconnection of a displaylink device (one of which i have been using, but wasn't connected today...)
