caribouHello,10:10
caribouIs it normal that the network installation kernels in netboot.tar.gz higher than 4.15.0-20 do not have the NVME modules available ?10:11
caribouI need a newer kernel for installation to work around LP: #1767992 but cannot see my NVMe on the host with kernels 4.15.0-60 and/or 5.3.0-1810:15
ubot5Launchpad bug 1767992 in linux (Ubuntu) "Linux md raid-10 freezes during resync" [Undecided,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/176799210:15
apwcaribou, how are you installing the kernel11:18
apwnvme might be built-in, or are you missing -extras and it is in ther11:19
caribouthat's the installation kernel so it is started by a PXE boot (it's a network install), hence it just runs busybox11:22
caribouapw: ^11:22
caribouI suspect that it has moved to -extra, but this one is not available at the first phases of network installation11:23
caribou(I thought of checking here first before opening a bug on this)11:23
