[08:52] <xubuntu78w> A clean install doesn't solve the problem. It seems only that I have to remake the bootable USB with Rufus on windows to perfom a clean install to sort out the issue.

[16:23] <mattys> Hello, i recently installed Xubuntu on my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 100s) and now my Sound doesn't work, i tried everything i saw, install alsa, reinstall pulseaudio etc.. Does anyone here know how to fix this?
[16:24] <mattys> at the moment my audio doesn't work, i can't acces pulse audio because it tells me: "Establishing connection to PulseAudio. Please wait..." I waited like 10minutes, still nothing :(

[16:29] <mattys> I made the usb disk with unetbootin, as soon as I finished installing Xubuntu i removed the usb from the laptop.
[16:30] <diogenes_> boot it and pick 'try xubuntu' and it will load the live xubuntu desktop and check the sound.
[16:30] <mattys> Okay.
[16:35] <mattys> It unfortunately doesn't work but Volume Control is working now...
[16:36] <diogenes_> open some youtube.
[16:37] <mattys> Yes i did open youtube and open a video but nothing...
[16:38] <mattys> I checked if anything is muted, everything is on but in Output Devices in Volume Control under the volume slider i dont see that the bar under it is even moving or doing that effect.
[16:38] <diogenes_> then you might want to try xubuntu 19.10 in the same way 'try xubuntu', you got better chances.
[16:39] <mattys> I will try it then.
