[03:28] <lotuspsychje> fossa's gnome version will rocknroll on machines
[03:31] <crippledmonk> had to do firmware-b43-installer for wifi and reboot. then add the nomodeset on first boot then used the built in autoinstall for the nvidia card then it worked out well after one more reboot
[03:31] <lotuspsychje> crippledmonk: try these out: sudo apt install preload haveged stacer
[03:32] <lotuspsychje> with stacer you can tweak startup items & systemd services GUI and tweak your machine for smoothness
