lubot<tsimonq2> Hello02:51
lubot<Rudra Bali> Working on some icons for Lubuntu 20.10 LTS07:26
lubot<Rudra Bali> Terminal emulator: https://imgur.com/a/LxAwCKW07:26
lubot<Rudra Bali> @tsimonq207:26
lubot<RikMills> Does your calamares do full disk encryption?08:48
lubot<Rudra Bali> It has the capability to do so08:49
lubot<Rudra Bali> @RikMills08:50
lubot<kc2bez> @RikMills [Does your calamares do full disk encryption?], Yes, boot is encrypted along with the rest of the drive using LUKS. There is a tick box on the erase disk option for encryption.09:03
lubot<RikMills> Found it :)09:04
lubot<aptghetto> It uses LUKS1 and no LVM09:04
lubot<kc2bez> ^^09:05
lubot<RikMills> Right. I was taking with Neon, and it was said switch to cala would lose full disk encryption. So not the case to a limited degree09:07
lubot<Rudra Bali> I guess we need to develop a video for Focal09:21
lubot<Rudra Bali> @tsimonq209:32
lubot<Rudra Bali> I hope it is fine09:35
lubot<Rudra Bali> @MichaelTunnell09:36
lubot<MichaelTunnell> Overall I think this is good and I like the music choice on this version much better. I do think it can be improved though … The second box of text should be reversed. Dark text and outlines instead of the light approach like the first one was. … The Lubuntu logo in the beginning looks jammed in like it's squished. … The powere14:35
lubotd by part looks out of place, like maybe have it behind the galaxy that the LXQt logo sits on and then have to LXQt logo.14:35
lubot<Rudra Bali> Ah, I guess I'll remake the video14:37
lubot<MichaelTunnell> Sorry14:37
lubot<Rudra Bali> It's fine :)14:37
lubot<Rudra Bali> I'm gonna use Lightworks this time14:38
lubot<Rudra Bali> I used Davinci Resolve Studio last time14:39
lubot<MichaelTunnell> Hmm alright :)14:39
lubot<MichaelTunnell> 🤜                   🤛 … Social distancing first bump ^^14:39
lubot<Rudra Bali> 😀14:39
lubot<MichaelTunnell> I also suggest "for the people, by the people" instead of the reverse order. … I would also put "Community Developed" in front of that to signify what is meant15:01
lubot<Rudra Bali> Ah, thanks for your suggestions :)15:01
lubot<MichaelTunnell> 😎🍄15:01
lubot<Rudra Bali> 😁15:02
lubot<Rudra Bali> Thanks15:02
lubot<Rudra Bali> Uh oh15:07
lubot<Rudra Bali> I by mistake began to install it again15:08
lubot<Rudra Bali> Crashed and won't start15:08
lubot<Rudra Bali> Will try Premiere Pro15:09
lubot<Rudra Bali> since I have a Zenbook Duo running Windows along with my Linux workstation15:10
wxloh sometimes i can't help but laugh https://discourse.lubuntu.me/t/after-fresh-install-diff-not-found/86717:28
wxl@HMollerCl you have any idea why libreoffice-core-nogui is being installed? https://launchpadlibrarian.net/471763019/buildlog_ubuntu_focal_amd64_lubuntu_BUILDING.txt.gz17:37
wxlif anyone saw the complainy discourse post about the calamares bug here's what the next step is https://github.com/calamares/calamares/issues/133418:03
RikMillswxl: the libreoffice situation is being sorted18:08
wxlk thx18:09
RikMillsa new libreoffice that fixes the depends should be building18:10

kc2beznuked that too I guess18:14
lubot<HMollerCl> @wxl [<wxl> @HMollerCl you have any idea why libreoffice-core-nogui is being installed …], maybe becasue "? Unknown dependency libreoffice-core-nogui (= 1:6.4.2-0ubuntu2) by libreoffice-base-core"18:18
wxl@HMollerCl sorry to wake you up it's all good :)18:19
lubot<HMollerCl> jaja, ok18:19
lubot<HMollerCl> btw, I tested lo 7.0 master 21mar build and the cairo issue is solved18:19
wxlcool18:20
lubot<RikMills> @HMollerCl [maybe becasue "? Unknown dependency libreoffice-core-nogui (= 1:6.4.2-0ubuntu2) …], the nogui packages are in universe, and the main ones are in main, which makes germinate freak!18:21
lubot<HMollerCl> both packages are handled by the same team?18:23
lubot<RikMills> they are produced by the same sourc18:23
lubot<RikMills> not all binaries produced from a source in main have to be in main18:24
lubot<RikMills> which is a bit mind bending!18:25
lubot<RikMills> at first18:25
lubot<RikMills> anyway, the libreoffice building now is meant to fix it.18:25

lubot<lynorian> Rudra The command line typo is fixed in the master branch and is set to be fixed for 20.04 I can't really cherry pick that fix that easily22:20

kc2bez@lynorian I can confirm our earlier conversation. When using Rufus in Windows selecting NTFS results in a install failure. Rufus and Fat32 proceed without issue. 23:49
