I am guessing it is trying to load items which are incompatible.  I also need to install drivers.  is there a starter guide I should be reading first before jumping into here?

[09:15] <rafiii> when maximized, there are pixels between the close button and the border of the screen, meaning that I can't close the application with the top right pixel
