=== grumble is now known as rawr [15:29] hello [15:30] I would like to have an Ubuntu devel's insight on the way the languages are provided at the boot of a live CD [15:30] or live ISO or live USB… [15:31] I am trying to put up a remix with Openbox standalone (Bento Openbox), and once my remix is working, the languages at start don't work right anymore. I have tried many things to try to find where the issue lies, in vain [15:31] once I choose French, only the two last lines of the boot stanzas are in French, the first other lines are in English. [15:32] There is another thing too, the Desktop environment is using Openbox, PCManFM, and Lxpanel. (Sounds like Lubuntu but it's not Lubuntu) [15:34] well, the install icon on the desktop prompts a windows to choose wether it should be executed, shown as a file, executed in a terminal or cancel. Also here I was unable to find what is going wrong. Rights and permissions are the same as in the official and community versions, and if I add a chmod a+x on the file it does not change the behavior (even when doing so in /usr/share/applications before rebuilding) [15:35] I'll stay a while, if someone has clues for one or the other of my 2 issues to submit, I will be most happy [15:35] if someone wants to give it a try it's "Bento Openbox Core" here: https://downloads.linuxvillage.org (less than 800MB) [18:20] ok, I'll come back soon. [18:20] during the week might be better
