[08:36] <TauPan> (Just trying to purge a ppa with a non-standard name that blocked some updates.)
[08:40] <TauPan> (FTR: That helped... It seems if there are pending updates for whatever reason, e.g. held packages, do-release-update refuses to run outright.)
