mdeslaurSo the libreswan autopkgtest is now failing because it looks like launchpad now knows about "needs-internet", but internet access isn't complete...does launchpad support "open-internet-access" or do I drop the test completely?13:50
mdeslaurs/launchpad/the autopkgtest infrastructure/13:51
mdeslaurLaney: ^ perhaps you know?13:52
Laneymdeslaur: open-internet-access is still just a proposal, I don't think we have a way to say the equivalent yet14:01
LaneyIt looks from a quick reading like that test might want to be skippable and exit 77 if the ping fails, or something like that?14:02
mdeslaurLaney: is 77 a special exit codes? where can I see where those are documented?14:08
Laneymdeslaur: https://salsa.debian.org/ci-team/autopkgtest/blob/master/doc/README.package-tests.rst "skippable"14:09
mdeslaurLaney: ah, perfect, just what I needed. Thanks!14:09
Laneynp14:09
mdeslaurebarretto: ^14:09
Laneythat feels upstreamable too, ideally14:09
mdeslauryeah14:10
ebarrettomdeslaur, ack, thanks! thanks Laney too!14:11
Laneynp!14:13
LaneyLocutusOfBorg: thx for uploading that patch14:13
LaneyI forgot how debian-haskell works, should probably leave that group14:13
Laneyor maybe somneone did already14:13

ricotzhi, please retry ppc64el and s390x for https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/1:7.0.1~rc1-0ubuntu114:32
Laneyricotz: I will, I just asked Launchpad people (on an internal channel) about these ones to see if there's something for them to look at first14:45
=== didrocks999 is now known as didrocks
didrockscjwatson: hey, once you get some time, I’m puzzled to see why germinate against groovy-proposed output lines like golang-google-api-dev                               | golang-google-api                     | Rescued from golang-google-api                   | Ubuntu Developers <ubuntu-devel-discuss@lists.ubuntu.com>                |         3587748 |           9336715:06
didrocksgolang-google-api is in universe, I don’t find anything in any seed and it’s only against proposed15:07
didrocks(rationale is: this one and some others are showing up as root nodes on component-mismatches)15:07
ricotzLaney, ty15:13
Laneyricotz: It looks like there's a problem with the buildds though so it might struggle to finish until that's sorted out15:13
Laneybut we'll see15:14
EickmeyerNot sure if it's related, but I'm having a similar problem with germinate at the moment.15:18
Eickmeyerhttps://paste.ubuntu.com/p/r45dTCXJNZ/15:19
EickmeyerNevermind, seems to be working now.15:30
cjwatsondidrocks: This is legitimately extremely confusing, but I think it *might* be because golang-goprotobuf in -proposed has gained a dependency on golang-google-protobuf-dev, or similar?  Basically a bunch of golang stuff ends up in the build-sources closure of the supported-cloud seed and that then activates the "Extra-Include: ... *-dev" seed in supported15:37
cjwatsondidrocks: I think it might be worth adding "Extra-Exclude: golang-*-dev" to override that for golang, since the "include all *-dev packages from otherwise-supported things" rule doesn't make as much sense for lang15:38
cjwatson*golang15:38
cjwatsonEickmeyer: Certainly unrelated.  But where did you see that?15:41
Eickmeyercjwatson: Output from updating the ubuntustudio-meta source, but it went away. I think it was just a burp in the git server.15:44
didrockscjwatson: that makes sense, I’ll look at the Extra-Exclude indeed as golang package are special in that regards. Thanks for looking!15:46
ahasenackvorlon: hi, tjaalton accepted my base-files sru, but a) the NEW package needs to be accepted; b) it needs to go into main; c) I missed the bug number in d/changelog of ubuntu-meta's x and b upload (focal has it, but wasn't accepted). And I think he is EOD now16:45
tjaaltonright, i'm off already for today, can handle them on monday if needed17:00
ahasenackthanks17:08
LocutusOfBorgLaney, thenks you to for providing the patch, otherwise all the work would have been useless :)18:05
LocutusOfBorgbut next time please just commit on git and upload18:05
LocutusOfBorg(I added you to the team)18:15

LaneyLocutusOfBorg: It confuses me with the package plan and stuff, I'm scared of breaking it because I forgot how all that works and I don't fancy re-learning21:34
Laneybut thanks21:34
bdmurrayvorlon: Could you update the autopkgtest-cloud worker configurations?21:42
vorlonbdmurray: done21:51
bdmurrayvorlon: thanks!21:52
vorlonEickmeyer: hmm so I understood we were redoing dragonfly-reverb in order to fix the debian/copyright warnings from lintian... and lintian -I still shows a bunch of them21:59
LocutusOfBorgLaney, I just do and commit on git, and git tag version...22:02
LocutusOfBorgnothing more :) I know they have stuff but meh, I don't care22:02
cjwatsonEickmeyer: There were some performance problems earlier today, indeed, worked around by repacking a particularly heavy repository22:05
vorlonjuliank: grub2 has a grubzfs-testsuite autopkgtest regression focal that I believe had a matching one in groovy fixed by an update to grubzfs-testsuite.  Should we be SRUing this in focal?23:41
