A second laptop running Windows 10 can w/o problem (both before and after the upgrade). Any ideas how my XP machine can regain access? [07:00] softrocker: you can probably degrade the SMB protocol in smb.conf [07:01] at the expense of security and performance of course [07:01] so it's obviously not recommended to do so [07:01] softrocker, you can also duplicate your question in #samba. [07:03] yeah, i figured this may be better answered in #samba... as I've been messing with /etc/samba/smb.conf to no avail. thanx! [07:07] softrocker: your focus should probably be on smb protocol levels and accepted auth methods === softrocker is now known as rocksofter === rocksofter is now known as softrocker === dkessel12 is now known as dkessel1 === guiverc2 is now known as guiverc === Guest69921 is now known as az === Rtfsc9 is now known as Rtfsc8 === Rtfsc9 is now known as Rtfsc8
