[00:00] Ok, perfect [19:33] kc2bez: hey there, i just noticed that SHA1SUMS and MD5SUMS at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/releases/20.04.1/release/ are missing 20.04.1 (SHA256SUM has them).was this an on-purpose change? [19:33] i guess MD5 and SHHA1 may be considered weak nowadays. [19:36] tomreyn: I am not sure, I switched to the sha256sums on lubuntu.me/downloads because someone on the forum pointed it out. Do any of the other flavors have MD5 and SHA1? [19:36] hmm good point / question, let's see [19:38] http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/releases/20.04.1/release/ has MD5 and SHA1 for 20.04.0 images, which are not in this directory. [19:39] and SHA256 for the current 20.04.1 images which are right next to it. [19:40] http://releases.ubuntu.com/20.04.1/ has only SHA256, no MD5, no SHA1 checksum files. [19:40] looks like some cleaning up may be needed. [19:53] kc2bez: i guess someone with write access to these locations should coordinate with #ubuntu-flavors so this can be sorted out for every flavor, and links / documentations / release notes / download links can be updated accordingly. but i'm not sure who this would be, or how to engage them. [20:05] tomreyn: I am not too sure either but I will see what I can find out. [20:06] maybe it'll boil down to engaging IS or release managers. [20:07] good luck [20:10] That was LP #1883272 btw.
