LocutusOfBorghello, since few days, llvm-toolchain-11 on riscv64 is "waiting for lock"... is this normal? can I assume it will finish? https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-toolchain-11/1:11.0.0~+rc3-1/+build/1996935206:12
LocutusOfBorgI see the log moving forward, but always printing the very same set of lines06:12
cjwatsonLocutusOfBorg: It looks like what happened is that dh_builddeb died abruptly while processing one of the binary packages, and then pkgstripfiles never cleared the lock08:34
cjwatson2020-09-26 18:33:49+0000 [-] Build log:    dh_builddeb -a08:34
cjwatson2020-09-26 18:33:52+0000 [-] Build log: malloc(): unaligned tcache chunk detected08:34
cjwatson2020-09-26 18:33:55+0000 [-] Build log: dh_builddeb.pkgbinarymangler: error: dpkg-deb --root-owner-group --build debian/llvm-11-runtime .. died with signal 608:34
cjwatsonAnd now llvm-11-runtime is at the top of the lock file (owning it), but will never build08:35
cjwatsonLocutusOfBorg: I've cancelled the build and will retry it in the hope that it doesn't hit whatever memory allocation bug it hit that time08:36
LocutusOfBorgthanks for confirming that was a non-normal situation09:55
LocutusOfBorgthe new rc is out, so I'll just go ahead and sync it, since it fixes some autopkgtest regressions09:55

mvohey, is something not quite right with the snap builds? I noticed that https://code.launchpad.net/~snappy-dev/+snap/snapd-2.47 shows me a snapd build that is going on since ~3h which is highly unusual plus my PPA build in https://launchpad.net/~snappy-dev/+archive/ubuntu/image/+sourcepub/11636019/+listing-archive-extra is showing as unfinished but the first line says it's published already18:04
mvo(sorry for mixing two issues, the later is about a PPA build)18:04
cjwatsonYep, as mentioned elsewhere it's under maintenance at the moment18:10
cjwatsonDrat, I should have added it to the topic here though18:11
* mvo nods - thanks for the quick reply!18:11

cjwatsonI think most things are back now, though the publisher is still slow (hopefully just very cold caches, but we'll see) and backlogged20:56
