[01:57] <confuseduser> Well it appears I've found a work-around. Toggling the software "wifi enabled" button in network manager and reconnecting to wifi after rebooting the machine appears to solve my connection isssues.

[14:36] <gnrp> when rebooting the next time, press the button to get into the grub (bootloader) editing. Then you can remove the "quiet" and the "splash" part from the boot parameters and boot
