[05:16] <Maik> Keep in mind though that latest doesn't always mean it's better. It's better to have software that is a bit older and has been thoroughly tested and approved to use in a distro to asure more stability. Hence the older packages in Debian and Ubuntu releases.

If you watn a reliable distro with quite new Plasma take Manjaro. If you like soething mor stable try Kubuntu :-)
