I have to replace all plugins and  they work till next time Ardour is (re)started.

[20:23] <Eickmeyer[m]> No, plugins are not included. They must be installed in order for that to work. We removed a number of plugins by default from Ubuntu Studio this cycle, including the Calf plugins, which are no longer compatible with Ardour.
