[05:43] is anyone else having issues with Autojack starting from Studio Control on 20.10? https://github.com/ovenwerks/studio-controls/issues/4 [06:53] kaeru: the first part of that looks like an old config file with a newer version of controls. [06:54] [kaeru](https://matrix.to/#/@freenode_kaeru:matrix.org) does not seem to affect me. Does it happen to you on a fresh install of 20.10? [06:55] the second comment looks like a different problem. [06:56] in the first case a copy of the config file would help. [06:57] the second looks like a jack /pulse problem such as a latency too low for pulse [11:09] hey, does anyone know how to enable remote desktop sharing in Ubuntu Studio? all the online guides are for vanilla Ubuntu [11:15] [jazzslag](https://matrix.to/#/@freenode_jazzslag:matrix.org) thise guides are most likely for vino, a lightweight vnc server. It is not usually installed on ubuntu flavors. It only works within the same lan, and it is not nat aware. If i need to remotely access a machine via internet i usually install anydesk. [11:15] If you want FOSS only you can install xrdp or vnc server by hand. But also remember they do not work through nat and are usually not encrypted, so a vpn or ssh tunnel will be required. [11:16] Sorry, long answer to a short question. I hope it is somewhat useful [11:19] thanks so much Mauro - I already have a VNC server installed (Remmina), I'm just looking for a simple way to enable sharing like in regular Ubuntu, but it there doesn't seem to be one [11:45] [jazzslag](https://matrix.to/#/@freenode_jazzslag:matrix.org) no worries. I understand, yes that's useful if you just want to use it on demand. Vnc servers can be configured to run as service on startup but i don't think it is what you are trying to do. You could setup a couple of launcher icons linked to scripts that start and stop remote support. [14:12] * OvenWerks uses ssh -Y
