[12:09] <daftykins> TJ-: i ended up converting that encrypted install to EFI the other day, as i discovered Xen runs EFI guests much quicker than legacy ones - maybe it has to do some kind of emulation that causes a performance hit, boot time is vastly reduced
[12:15] <TJ-> daftykins: I wonder if that is because it has to emulate x86 real-mode transitions for BIOS mode guests, whereas with UEFI it can remain in protected mode
