weedmicI remember a inxi command to list cpu faults like spectre and meltdown.  But, have forgotten it b/c I've been habitually using https://termbin.com/zyo3 instead.  Anyone know the command?11:53
weedmicinxi -a -C11:56
weedmicdoes this mean I have or have not applied the mitigation "Type: meltdown mitigation: PTI"?12:00
lotuspsychjeweedmic: try this tool; spectre-meltdown-checker12:05
weedmicok, i have that, but I believe it gets the output from inxi, which is what i used.  i'm trying to see if I have or have not applied these patches.  i think i did, but can't find any divergent entries.12:07
tomreynspectre-meltdown-checker doesn't use inxi. it gets most info from /sys/devices/system/cpu/vulnerabilities/ (and /proc/sys/kernel/).12:58
tomreyn(i notice weedmic is gone)12:59
