[00:19] Ok, I think I have scrolling on the mouse now, but it's weird. To scroll I have to hold the mouse right click button and then move the entire mouse. Is this supposed to happen? [00:19] some people suggested selecting two-finger in the touchpad settings, however, that option is greyed out so I can't select it [00:51] Hello [00:51] I was wondering if you could please help me getting a bluetooth multi-touch mouse to work with Lubuntu? Thank you. [00:52] some people suggested selecting two-finger in the touchpad settings, however, that option is greyed out so I can't select it [00:52] On other devices and in Windows 10 the touch-surface mouse works normal [00:52] However, in Lubuntu 20.04 LTS I can't seem to get it to work the same way for scrolling [00:52] Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I've been trying to get this to work for weeks. [00:54] Hello [00:54] I was wondering if you could please help me getting a bluetooth multi-touch mouse to work with Lubuntu? Thank you. [00:59] I recommend putting a post on our discourse forum rather than repeating yourself. It is likely to get more views that way. I predict many of us in this chat only have experience with a regular mouse or touchpad. https://discourse.lubuntu.me/ === BrianG61UK__ is now known as BrianG61UK_ === lubuntu is now known as Guest97576 [13:08] I am going to try again: what is the lightest weight way to install lxde? The metapackage lxde installs wayy too much desktopy crap I have no use for. I just want the desktop environment itself with maybe a terminal; I can add more stuff later [13:10] I really do not want to install samba support or some word processor. [13:11] look for minimal install OR net install and choose the components you need only. i don't use lxde so not sure them options are even available [13:16] mancman3: For minimal install I usually begin with a barebones server install and then add software on the top of it [13:19] exactly so do that and add a display manager and lxde [22:08] Sorry, I didn't realize this was the same IRC chat [22:08] It shows up as two different chats on my screen [22:45] Well, maybe you shouldn't join twice then.. >_< [22:45] it's double the fun
