[15:39] I'd like to thank the devels of Ubuntu Studio. I've now installed 4 instances and it works really nicely and I'm teaching my friends how to use theirs and it is advancing [15:42] Both of them have the US on a 2nd hand business laptop with far superior everything than their old Windows hypermarket-machines so adhering to the Finnish saying fi."hiljaa hyvä tulee" == en."[doing] slowly good comes" and we have all together raised GNU/Linuxens marketshare on the desktop. [15:49] This recollection is perhaps not precise, but I think I put my US to sleep with JACK on and then woke it up and I didn't need to restart JACK, Qsynth etc, but I may have just not been paying attention to doing these things [15:51] It'd be awesome if not need to restart JACK, Qsynth and connect the midi controller again to Qsynth in Carla, but if that is undoable, perhaps I could put something in fall asleep and wake from sleep scripts. At least like automatic shutdown of JACK before sleep, so I don't need to do it by hand [15:57] Maik: So, I'm on with the new installation of the Ubuntu Studio 20.04.1 now... It is very nice to migrate it with my Backup'z on a new Samsung M2 SSD NVMe... [16:11] My relative was buying a phone, so I noticed the phone had NVMe-controller, I had not seen any phone before that uses it. Much faster than spinning clay disks SATAIII [18:26] twojukeboksi: thats great to hear that you are having a good experience with Ubuntu Studio, I'll cheers the developers as well
