mvogood morning zyga08:11
zygamvo, I looked and filed the ITP only to find that ... yaml.v3 is packaged08:11
zygaa bit older, but packaged08:11
mvozyga: heh, is it team maintained?08:12
mvozyga: there is a debian-golang team08:12
zygamvo, yes, go maintainers something something08:12
mvozyga: if so updateing should be trivial, it's a team on salsa and they have a #debian-golang channel on oftc08:12
zygamvo, yeah, I guess I need to practice some teamwork there08:13
zygaI have 6-12 month planning to do today so there will be a bit of a lag for the next few days08:13
mvozyga: https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-gopkg-yaml.v308:13
mvozyga: iirc you had a salsa account, no?08:13
zygabut we can package spread if we patch it to use this and that other kr package08:13
zygayeah, zyga-guest08:13
mvozyga: should be fine to update and release08:14
mvozyga: it would be a PR08:15
zygayeah, should be fine08:15
mvozyga: against their tree and we can offer to do all the boring work after the PR is merged (run gbp buildpackage, dput)08:15
zygayeah, I just need to put down coding for ~~ 4 days08:16
zygagood morning pedronis08:19

pstolowskimvo: yes, sure09:32
mvopstolowski: thank you!09:32
mvopstolowski: 9692 is shorter and probably easier09:32

mupPR snapd#9698 opened: cmd/snap-bootstrap: update model cross-check considerations <Skip spread> <UC20> <Created by pedronis> <https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/9698>13:50
Psi-JackSo, I'm trying to get a particular snap to work, ramboxpro, and this is a brand new install of openSUSE Tumbleweed. I know in the past I had issues with my symlinks in $HOME pointing to /mnt/storage/$USER/$path, for things where $path would be Documents, Pictures, Public, but I'm not seeing any log of snap-confine failing anywhere, even though I know it is.14:04
Psi-JackI've adjusted the tunable in /etc/apparmor.d/tunables/home.d/site.local for including @{HOMEDIRS}+=/mnt/storage/psi-jack/14:05
mupPR snapd#9692 closed: client,snapctl: add naive support for "stdin" <Squash-merge> <Created by mvo5> <Merged by mvo5> <https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/9692>14:50

diddledanPsi-Jack: I think your `@{HOMEDIRS}` line should point to `/mnt/storage/` without the `/psi-jack/` suffix.15:10
cachio@pstolowski, hey, in #9690 you need to update the actions file to run on 2010 when the tag run-nested is set15:32
mupPR #9690: tests: enable nested on 20.10 <Run nested> <Created by stolowski> <https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/9690>15:32
pstolowskicachio: aha!15:32
pstolowskithanks will do15:32
cachiopstolowski, add a line after line 27015:32
diddledanGitHug Actions are sublime!15:32
pstolowskicachio: do we need to update our 20.10 virt image?15:33
cachiopstolowski, just validated that and seems to be ok15:33
cachiolet's see the test results first15:33
pstolowskicachio: do we have the official groovy image, not a beta?15:34
cachioI can recreate it with the latest changes15:34
cachiopstolowski, I'll trigger that but takes about 20/30 minutes15:34
cachiopstolowski, just triggered a new update for the virt enavbled image15:38
pstolowskicachio: thanks!15:40
cachiopstolowski, it is ready15:50
cachioplease try it15:50
cachioI am having lunch now15:50
* cachio lunch15:50
pstolowskicachio: great, i'll update my PR in a bit15:50
mupPR snapd#9699 opened: hookstate: implement snapctl fde-setup-{setup,result} <Created by mvo5> <https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/9699>15:56
pstolowskicachio: updated16:02
Psi-JackHmmm, okay.. So no help. Gotcha. :/16:12
pstolowskiPsi-Jack: I think diddledan made a suggestion an hour ago, did you see it? anyway, the forum may be a better place to ask this16:14
Psi-JackOh, well, dang.. No wonder I didn't see, sorry, irccloud I filter out, normally.16:16
mupPR snapd#9700 opened: client/snapctl: fix typo <Simple 😃> <Skip spread> <Created by anonymouse64> <https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/9700>16:26
ijohnsonpedronis: also you were right, the devicestate changes weren't necessary at all, it's literally just the daemon routing bits that was missing16:44
ijohnsonI'll update the pr shortly16:44
mupPR snapd#9663 closed: tests/main/lxd/prep-snapd-in-lxd.sh: wait for valid apt files before doing apt ops <Simple 😃> <Squash-merge> <Test Robustness> <Created by anonymouse64> <Merged by anonymouse64> <https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/9663>17:01
pedronisijohnson: ok17:03
ijohnsonpedronis: oh actually I guess in your comment on the pr, did you mean to leave the comment in the routing code and remove just verbatim the "XXX" or remove the whole comment ?17:04
* ijohnson interpreted it as remove the whole comment, but maybe that was not what you meant17:04
pedronisijohnson: I did mean to leave some kind of factual comment about what that entry cover, but without the XXX because I'm not sure there is anything immediate we can do about it17:05
ijohnsonok, I will add back the comment without the XXX17:06
ijohnsonalright comment added17:09
ijohnsondegville do you know who owns https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuCore/Development ?18:05
