drewbertHi, I have an issue.  When I use winkey+direction to snap a window left or right, there is a an invisible band in the middle of the window where I can't click anything.17:16
ballIt looks as though an upgrade broke (the OS on) my son's PC.  Is this likely to be fixable or do I just nuke and pave?  It says the disk is not bootable.17:16
gnrpdrewbert: What kind of window do you want to tile?18:20
gnrpball: Depends toally on how broken it is and how much effort you want to spend and how much data there is on it18:20
gnrpwhen it says the disk is not bootable, then you can likely fix it by booting from an alternative medium, but whatever comes after...18:21
drewbertgnrp, vscode, slack, firefox all have had this issue.  There'll be an unclickable area in the window.  I workaround by scrolling up or down and then clicking the target that is no longer in the unclickable area.18:24
ballgnrp: I was able to boot from the USB flash drive that I originally installed Xubuntu from.18:41
ball...might just wipe it and start from scratch.18:41
gnrpdrewbert: Ah, ok, then I have no clue, sorry21:20
drewbertIt's really bizzare. I think there must be some overlay or compositor junk interfering21:21
drewbertUsing xprop, I have determined that tilix is the source of the issue: https://github.com/gnunn1/tilix/issues/123721:25
