pstolowskipedronis: one of your comments says you wanted to discuss expiring auto snapshots vs import - https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/9513/files#r507551844 ?15:29

pedronispstolowski: yes15:41
pstolowskipedronis: any concern you have with just setting auto to false and preventing expiration for imported ones?16:00
pedronispstolowski: no, that was the main idea, but we also need to think separately about the flag location itself16:03
pedronispstolowski: does this make sense?  I'm a bit busy with other things, we can more in the morning tomorrow if needed?16:12

weirddan455Hi, I just installed snap on Arch.  Can someone tell me what is mounting the snaps and auto-starting services on boot?  I don't have snapd.service/socket enabled in systemd but something is still mounting my snaps and starting a service in one of my snaps (which I would like to disable from auto-starting and start manually)23:05
ijohnsonweirddan455: there are systemd mount units generated for all snaps, if you disable these then you will need to manually mount them all before using any snaps again23:06
weirddan455ijohnson, oh I see now.  in /etc/systemd/system.  thanks.23:11
