Reason: a few of the discussions on the MIR Team meeting will be related to your recent activities [15:29] do you want to hit him yourself? I mean, I can do that later anyway ;) [15:29] doko: hehe, I'm fine either way - but if they are around surely the round-trip time will be reduced [15:29] hence my pre-pings [15:29] let us get this started .... [15:34] it was added to the server seed [15:34] but so far I've not heard that the activity on this would have passed to us [15:35] unseed it? [15:35] unless that happened between xnox and ?? (maybe rharding) I'd expect MIRs requests on those [15:35] doko: how about me starting a mail thread with the relevant people requesting to clarify who has the current action items? [15:35] IIRC I have had some related discussions in my inbox, I can refer to those [15:36] #action - christian to ping xnox / rharding and others to clarify who is in the driver seed tor needrestart [15:36] ACTION: - christian to ping xnox / rharding and others to clarify who is in the driver seed tor needrestart [15:36] next in mismatches that isn't a usual suspect is rubygems [15:37] doko: I have spoken with kanashiro [15:37] cpaelzer: sounds good. please add mclemenceau [15:37] I will [15:37] doko: he is on cleanup duty now that he is back - part of that is rubygems [15:37] doko: it was in main as it was part of the same source [15:37] so wait some more days? [15:38] doko: it was shipped wit h the interpreter and then changed upstream [15:38] doko: we re-introduced the same we had before [15:38] so promote again? [15:38] but since it was removed in Debian/Ubuntu in between it now shows up as mismatch [15:38] doko: could I ask you to re-promote it on the base of the former promotion which was at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gem2deb/+bug/894827/comments/10 ? But somebody needs to make some UX calls on the "look & feel". I.e. should it be informational only, and if the stock configuration of things to restart / not to restart is good enough. At the moment it is advisory only. Meaning non-interactive installs do nothing, and the default option for [17:08] interactive installs is like "yes please restart somewhat safe amount of services, potentially killing my session requiring a relogin, kthxbye" [17:08] which i'm not sure is "tasteful enough" "on-rails" and so on.
