defanorHello. I have cloud-init 20.2 on a VM set by a hoster, which configures networking on Debian 10, including nameservers (/etc/network/interfaces.d/50-cloud-init, with dns-nameservers), and would like to configure DNS servers (either add backup ones or redefine them completely). Can it be done without disabling network configuration by cloud-init completely?20:45
defanorI've found <https://cloudinit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/topics/examples.html#configure-an-instances-resolv-conf>, but even if that would work, that's looks rather wrong if cloud-init would keep setting hoster-provided DNS servers in 50-cloud-init, and rewriting resolv.conf with the ones I'll set too.20:48
