I've done a factory reset, tried updating through setting and through the Terminal and nothing. [01:57] Any suggestions? [01:57] Try changing the update channel [01:57] It may work [02:01] (Photo, 960x1280) https://irc.ubports.com/bbv09Y57.png I've tried that, this is what I get. [02:02] It fetches for the other channels for forever and then I get this screen and the only thing I can do is go back. Now I'm checking version 210. [19:46] The same. If this is the problem, it is caused by a behavior change in Python3's tarfile. [19:46] Now 208. [19:56] Nope, that's normal. Not the problem. [20:10] @UniversalSuperBox [Hi @terrorzelle77 and Gianluca, I am investigating this problem now. Until I'm a …], ok, thanks. I think I use the Edge-Image. Is that possible? I will try the recovery. [20:11] It is best to use devel if you want new things, or RC or Stable for less likelihood of breakage for each level you pick. [20:13] ok 😊 [20:14] Ra0ne was added by: Ra0ne [21:06] Contg_1831 was added by: Contg_1831 [21:21] This does appear to be a tar format issue. The format was changed from GNU to PAX in python3.8, and the recovery is throwing `tar: bad header` during upgrading. [21:36] @Stereofont [Use Webber to create your own], ok [21:42] @UniversalSuperBox [Hi @terrorzelle77 and Gianluca, I am investigating this problem now. Until I'm a …], Works, thanks! :) [21:59] Andreapazzo was added by: Andreapazzo [22:32] Wooow!!! Freeee BTC and ETH from Tesla … LOOOOK LINK - https://bit.ly/350zBul [22:57] Hi! i have a Nexus 5 with ota-9 installed in 2019 and updated to latest version some hours ago. When I connect to monitor with HDMI, the phone not work as touchpad. Any suggestions or workaround? Thanks! [23:33] oh it used to ?, haven't heard of that feature ( but i'm not a desktop like user ) [23:34] It works on most devices, except the Nexus 5. On the Nexus 5, it worked exclusively on OTA-9 [23:42] nice to know [23:42] why only N5 ? [23:43] If we knew why it didn't work, it would work :) [23:44] for sure ;-), halium 7.1 can resolve it ? [23:46] Don't know [23:53] I've fixed the problem with shipping images for the Volla Phone. It was due to Python switching the default tar format to PAX from GNU. Apparently the Volla Phone's recovery can't read PAX-formatted tar files. So I switched it back to GNU format. [23:54] please test Xperia X and Halium 7.1 devices then [23:54] They were fine [23:54] Volla Phone used ported Xperia X recovery, so same tar binary at least
