[17:15] <sladen> banekondic996: Rhythmbox is software made by other people;  Ubuntu assembles an easy kit of parts, while trying to respect the choices and wishes of all the other groups of people
[17:16] <sladen> banekondic996: I normally use an editor from the commandline (eg. joe, or emacs, or vi).  Or you can use gedit---or your normally editor
[17:18] <sladen> banekondic996: there should be options to change mouse speed until the settings (Mouse and Touchpad).  There are also some accessibiliy settings under "Universal Access" in Settings
[17:19] <sladen> banekondic996: yes, there are options to not require a password to do dangerous/system administration tasks; but Ubuntu tries to provide good (and safe) defaults
