begemotv2718Hi there. Do I understand correctly that currently there is no way to specify access point priority in wifi config?10:03
slyonbegemotv2718: Yes. That is true for now.10:13
slyonNM will auto-select the AP depending on internal data, such as sginal stength10:13
begemotv2718Well, I thought about networkd (which work through wpa_supplicant). It would be rather easy feature to implement in this case.10:14
slyonYes. I think the two are pretty similar... wpa_supplicant has "priority=NUMBER" while NetworkManager uses "autoconnect-priority=NUMBER", so it should be pretty straight forward to implement the two of them in parallel. Which is what netplan tries to do generally, to keep feature parity between the two backends.10:30
slyonWe don't have this feature on the roadmap currently, so I'd like to encourage you to propose a pull request on github, if you feel like. I'd be happy to review this!10:31
begemotv2718Thanks @slyon , I will try to make this patch.11:01
slyonsounds great! Thanks11:08
