[06:26] jibel: looks like ubiquity-dm is still broken on Kubuntu iso [06:27] RikMills, hm, ok. I'll have another look. [06:28] RikMills, do you know if it's the same dependency issue? [06:29] I think is is something else, that was masked by the previous issue [06:31] jibel: I see some things that would be started by ok by systemd dbus activation in a full user session failing, but not sure if that is symptom or cause === sem2peie- is now known as sem2peie === sem2peie- is now known as sem2peie [09:44] jibel: opensuse have reverted an upstream KDE commit that seems relevant to some of the ubiquity-dm startup errors. https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/openSUSE:Factory/kglobalaccel/0001-Revert-systemd-dbus-activation.patch?expand=1 [09:45] I am going to see if cherrypicking that makes sense, and then perhaps see how a subsequent ISO build fairs === halvors1 is now known as halvors === didrocks999 is now known as didrocks [18:05] kanashiro: looking at docker.io in Xenial, it looks like 18.09.7-0ubuntu1~16.04.7 got released to xenial-updates without your autopkgtest fix in 18.09.7-0ubuntu1~16.04.8. So accepting your upload as-is would cause users to download/upgrade it again unnecessarily, unfortunately. But a test fix is good and we shouldn't throw that away. [18:05] So it'd be good to stage that, but to do that we need a bug reference (again, unfortunately) so that we can add a block-proposed-xenial tag on it. [18:06] There was nothing wrong with what you did, just that the situation has changed. [18:07] Could you reupload with a bug reference please? Full SRU paperwork not required as it's just a dep8 test fix. Just a bug that exists with a block-proposed-xenial tag is what we need. [18:08] Or I can sort and "sponsor" if you're busy/not around. [18:28] rbasak, I am bit busy now but I can add this to my todo list [18:29] kanashiro: would you prefer me to do it then? [18:30] rbasak, feel free to do it :) [18:30] OK :) [23:20] jibel: I'm troubleshooting LP: #1901043 (no sound in ubuquity-dm when safe graphics mode is selected). Is the issue just that the startup chime is missing similar to LP: #1897934 ?
