I'm guessing it's for ARM64 using 64k pages but it'd be nice to have the official version in https://ubuntu.com/kernel/variants, please :) === sem2peie- is now known as sem2peie === sem2peie- is now known as sem2peie === sem2peie- is now known as sem2peie === sem2peie- is now known as sem2peie [21:26] Is there any resolution for the 5.8 iwlwifi missing firmware iwlwifi-cc-a0-56.ucode for the Intel AX200? We're seeing quite a few reports about this and there is no sign of that version in linux-firmware [21:28] iirc I went looking for that one the other day on https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/ and didn't see it -- are you sure it exists? [21:29] that's the point! the module declares it as the only version for cc-a0 hardware but it doesn't seem to exist anywhere [21:29] so consequently the hardware doesn't work as expected [21:33] in the latest code we have MODULE_FIRMWARE(IWL_CC_A_MODULE_FIRMWARE(IWL_22000_UCODE_API_MAX)); and API_MAX is 59 and linux-firmware does have a -59 ucode [21:36] commit e6d4318c0495 adds -56 and 5 months later 870f39bc9deb adds -57 [22:09] I am not sure why there would be a problem as other versions of that firmware exist. The driver should look for the API_MAX and then work its way down the list to API_MIN which is -39 === setuid_ is now known as setuid === m1sc_ is now known as m1sc
