[01:27] hello === test is now known as Guest41217 [03:58] tst [03:58] what is this ? === guiverc is now known as guiverc2 [12:01] I there an application switcher that looks win 10? (i.e. shows all open application on the screen "as big as possible") [12:03] DarkTrick_, alt+tab? it can be customized to show either icons or application windows. [12:04] diogenes_, I thought so, but I coudn't find it. Can you tell me where? [12:04] I checked "window tweak manager" [12:04] *window manger tweaks [12:05] DarkTrick_, window tweak manager > compositor > show windows preview.... [12:06] diogenes_, ah! yes... but that's too small [12:06] Here it's only about ... 32x32 or 64x64 previews [12:07] I would like something like this: https://www.tenforums.com/attachments/tutorials/19089d1431717213-switch-between-open-apps-windows-10-a-alt-tab.jpg [12:08] well i think that's all xfwm4 can do as of right now, maybe try https://docs.xfce.org/apps/xfdashboard/start [12:09] also compiz can do that too but it requires replacinf xfwm4 with compiz. [12:09] thank you. [12:09] no problem [12:10] I was hoping to find just some app to install instead of replacing the whole xfwm4 [12:12] diogenes_, but xfdashboard looks pretty much like what I need :) 👍️👍️ [12:17] DarkTrick_, ok come with a feedback on how it works because i've never tested it myself. [12:18] diogenes_, well... I can say from a quick test: it's kind of clumsy. [12:20] UX feels not easy. minimized windows dont get a preview (except with a workaround option, that makes a part of the screen flicker). It assumes, that the "start menu" is on the left side (mine is on the right). Other Themes are followed by some broken-looking rendering [12:21] ah :( === az is now known as Guest48121 [19:26] I'm getting a really odd problem that I can't wrap my head around. After connecting an XBOX ONE controller to my Xubuntu device using Bluetooth, if I press the home button on my controller, it opens my browser. If the browser is already open, it opens a new tab. Weird eh? Any ideas on where I'd start troubleshooting that issue? :-D
