[06:18] Hello all, when I tried to install a package via sudo apt install , it prompted this message: "E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem". So I triggered 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' and the system went to reboot. Prior to reboot the kernel log has above two suspicious messages. I can [06:18] consistently reproduce the reboot on triggering 'sudo dpkg --configure -a', what could be the issue? [09:28] Hello folks, ı am getting kernel error on syslog like > Feb 5 08:48:49 compute06 kernel: [49829.229272] xs_tcp_setup_socket: connect returned unhandled error -107. what does it mean can you help me please ? I am using ubuntu 18.04 and kernel version is 5.4.0-65 generic [10:05] gokhani: #define ENOTCONN 107 /* Transport endpoint is not connected */ [10:11] TJ- does it mean there is a problem on my network cards ? [10:18] gokhani: not entirely sure but would suggest the link isn't up (depending on how "transport" is interpreted) [11:01] thanks TJ- . Is there anyway or debug mode to find which link isn't up ? [17:00] are you using nfs? [17:36] cascardo yes I am using nfs [18:24] that is related to nfs, one possible reasons for cause would be the use of port 0, not sure how that happens [18:24] it could just as well be totally unrelated to the reboot issue you are seeing [18:25] what package is being configured at the time of the reboot? like, what are the last lines of dpkg right before it reboots? === Scotty_Trees2 is now known as Scotty_Trees
