guivercto me it just looks like an effort made before.. will it last?  (this time)00:00
Bashing-omIt would ne a very sad day to see our community Newsletter fall by the wayside :(00:01
Bashing-omguiverc: krytarik: I could ask SABDFL what his take is on a competing blog ? Appropriate ?00:03
guivercI wouldn't..   Canonical have to do whatever they consider in their best interest.. It's nice if we're told, but I'm not sure we should stick our noses into their business00:04
Bashing-omPatience is a virtue - OK, we see what happens - In the mean time "press on" .00:06
Bashing-omI do not want that we blow someone else's horn - but should we alert our readers that there is an alternative newsletter ?00:08
Bashing-omguiverc: Back now to working the day's Gdoc - I shall return to IRC when I take a break.00:12
guivercI think that would be neighbourly (ie. a good thing)00:13
guivercwe just could list as item in canonical section00:14
krytarikYeah, I agree with guiverc that the UWN is more broad, includes more than just news items, and we also have the liberty to look at things another way than Canonical do.  Plus it might also be true that our perseverance (or the one of you two really) can easily outdo Canonical's.00:16
Bashing-omWell. we do try - and continue to try is what we will do :P00:25
Bashing-omguiverc: "we just could list as item in canonical section" As last week was the blog's 1st appearance, edit it in UWN670 ?00:27
guivercyep.   I've done it before I'm sure (long ago)   as it was missed; I don't see it as critical, but I think it's better if we add stuff we missed when we can  (I'd only do it to the wiki, not further, forum post is complete too but up to you)00:29
Bashing-omguiverc: Agreed that we should edit last week - I do the WIKI and the Forum - no biggy. Lemme make sure I can pull up the blog's issue #1.00:31
guivercps:  I see fridge as official too, but as it's in Canonical News - that's the only link of fridge :)00:32
