[15:42] <Mamarok> indeed, it very shortly started and I could run the Budgie Desktop that was on this laptop when I bought it, but that was just once, on every try I end up with a black screen

[21:57] <wxl> i'm on 18.04 at work and i just noticed a weird quirk. wondering if i should write a bug report. default shortcut for application launcher is listed as alt-f1, which indeed does work, but so does meta. i can't actually set meta as a shortcut. if i set it to other shortcuts, meta still does its thing, so it doesn't seem to be specific to the alt-f1
[22:36] <wxl> oh i should also add that removing the shortcut altogether stops meta from triggering the menu.
