The goal is to increase write and readingspeed. The usage will be as data partition. I directly created an xfs filesystem on the new raid device (no more partitions). Chunk size of the raid is 64kb. Than i read a bit about mountoptions and other tunables. These raid0, xfs, Desktop tuning.. articles are mostly old and than i heared, that xfs is optimized for per [10:47] ance out of the box. So iam not sure if my setup is good. This was my fs creation cmd: "mkfs.xfs -b size=4096 -d sunit=128,swidth=256 -L Daten /dev/md/Daten" and this is my fstab line: "UUID=056500ac-3ee1-4f4f-9cbb-25a3298a45c9 /daten xfs sunit=128,swidth=256,x-gvfs-show,inode64 0 0" [10:47] The Data patition is running fine but iam not sure if this is a good setup because when i benchmark the drives single i get about 80mb/sec. and if i benchmark the raid i get less (about 70MB/sec.) so i think about recreating the raid and xfs filesystem without sunit, swidth an so on. What I did was: sudo systemctl --force edit vbox-conector.service, and in the editor write what is described here https://tanzolab.it/systemd, changing the names to fit my "vbox-conector" service. Then did systemctl daemon-reload . But when tryin to do systemctl enable vbox-conector, or enable vbox-conector.service, it errors "Failed to enable unit: Unit file vbox-conect [23:36] s not exist." I wonder what I'm missing !
