-lugito:#lubuntu-devel- [Lubuntu CI] jobgenerator FAILURE: https://ci.lubuntu.me/job/jobgenerator/906/06:19
ShellcatZeroI have heard that LXQt has to be recompiled in its entirety for some bugfixes (like broken mouse settings) to make it back to Lubuntu 20.04 LTS. Was this also the case with LXDE? I had thought there was some modularity with LXDE that did not require recompiling everything just to fix one component. As or right now, I cannot use Lubuntu LTS due to the regressions there.13:07
kc2bez[m]ShellcatZero: It might depend on where or what the bug fix is but I wouldn't think a complete recompile is necessary. Do you have a link to an issue or bug report?14:57
kc2bez[m]Also, the modularity of lxde vs LXQt is pretty much the same from my observation though I have less experience with lxde. 14:59
