[00:01] thanks wxl :), I got the outcome i wanted (had user remove 'broken'; my focus was on support issue more than the bug) but again thanks [04:28] [telegram] It worked!! [21:45] [telegram] 16.04 has been EOL for quite some time. I don't think there are many options for ppc these days. (re @Nevermind897: Hi, I'm looking to install lubuntu in a powerbook g4 but in the ftp the file for power pc of the 16.04 lts doesn't appear, what should I do?) [21:47] [telegram] But the iso of others version are available (re @kc2bez: 16.04 has been EOL for quite some time. I don't think there are many options for ppc these days.) [21:47] [telegram] The thing isn't because I like it, but because I don't have any other pc right now 😭 [21:49] [telegram] LTS versions for the flavors of Ubuntu are only supported for 3 years. Main Ubuntu sees support for 5 years. (re @Nevermind897: But the iso of others version are available) [21:51] [telegram] That is what I'm saying, there should be a file of ppc to, right? (re @kc2bez: LTS versions for the flavors of Ubuntu are only supported for 3 years. Main Ubuntu sees support for 5 years.) [21:51] [telegram] I mean, the other files from the same version are there [21:52] [telegram] Sorry if I make any mistake, my English isn't the best 😅 [21:53] [telegram] Lubuntu is a flavor so there is only 3 years of support. [21:55] [telegram] Thanks anyway 👍😔 (re @kc2bez: Lubuntu is a flavor so there is only 3 years of support.) [22:35] @Nevermind897, main Ubuntu 14.04 LTS was the last with ppc support; Ubuntu 16.04 never provided support for ppc (only flavors did), with all support ending in 2019-April. Only ppc64el continues (64-bit and incompatible with your hardware) https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel-announce/2016-December/001199.html [22:36] [telegram] https://matterbridge.lubuntu.me/5a8f97bf/file_2117_tgs.webp === richi235_ is now known as richi235
