[02:17] thank you mparillo [02:48] @valorie_, Maybe a feet or two depending on the location. [02:48] nice [02:49] (Photo, 1280x960) https://irc-attachments.kde.org/ofRKEeCO/file_42484.jpg [02:49] New dual monitor arm [02:51] very nice! [02:51] anyone know if we need at least 8GB of hard drive space to install/test? [02:52] I basically copied xubuntu's announce text and then modified [03:00] RikMills: ^^^ [03:18] I know Virtual box uses at least 12GB [03:40] yeah I discovered that a few times [03:53] @valorie_, I got them for free from a coworker. [03:53] wow, that's even nicer! [03:54] when your workspace is also your play space, you can't make it too nice! [04:06] Haha yea. I want another 1440p display to replace my last 1080p. [04:13] * valorie_ sticks with the oryx pro [09:50] In a VM, I always specify 20GB, but never pre-allocated. It is much easier to specify too much, than to increase it after the fact. And if I do not pre-allocate all 20GB, it does not use it all until it is needed. But on real HW (especially older SSDs), I can understand why people want to know the minimum.
