mborzeckiheh, started seeing the unit tests fail frequently when opensuse packages are automatically rebuilt on obs, probably the build hosts are less beefy now07:34
mvomborzecki: interessting, any patterns?07:55
mvomborzecki: fwiw, we see this too in LP on the slower arches and sometimes on i386 but it's all a bit random07:55
mborzeckimvo: client timtout exceeded or even hits an i/o timeout, and one other test with retry counts is failing07:56
mborzeckimvo: i suppose the hosts are really vms and very slow at that too07:56
mvoyeah, i/o timeout indicates soething really slow :/07:57
mborzeckimvo: a trivial PR to look at https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/1004108:12

mborzeckiheh, i cannot install lxd on arch: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/3gkk3XSWTx/10:31
bandalihey amurray, can i please get a resolution on https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/request-for-auto-connection-of-jami-network-manager/22833/4 ? it's been a blocker for us for nearly a month now14:17
ogramwhudson, yo ... i'm trying to build a page that links to the sources of each and every released core/18/20 snap ... looking at dpkg.list of the most recent core18 there is a "console-conf 0.0.29👍8.04.2" but launchpad does not know that version anywhere, neither in the main archive, nor in the snappy-dev image PPA ... any idea where that version comes from ? (bionic itself only has 0.0.29 without suffix it seems)14:23
ograsil2100, ^^^ any idea ? do we use any other PPAs for core18 builds beyond snappy-dev/image ?14:27
ograargh ... okay .,, seems i found https://launchpad.net/~canonical-foundations/+archive/ubuntu/ubuntu-image14:32
ograwhat a pain14:32

mvodoko: sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I looked at removing dh-systemd from the build-depends but it's a bit tricky, we use the same debian/control from 16.04+ so if at all possilbe I would like to keep it this way. any suggestions for me?19:03
cjwatsonmvo,doko: I think something like `Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 9.20160709~) | dh-systemd` ought to be backport-friendly19:15
mvocjwatson: awesome, thank you so much !19:30

om26erWhat's the best way to contact people responsible for the Snap Brand Store ?20:51
ijohnsonom26er: you can reach out to sales@canonical.com20:54
om26erijohnson  I sent a query from the Ubuntu website, I guess it goes to that email as well ?20:54
ijohnsonom26er: I don't know for sure, but yes both that email and the ubuntu website will end up at the same set of people who will get back to you21:32
ijohnsonom26er: if you don't hear back from anyone in a day or so, feel free to let us know here and I can go poke people manually to get in touch with you, but they are always very responsive, just many of them are in EU right now :-)21:32

amurraybandali: I see there was some discussion on this earlier that this may not be strictly required - can you confirm via the forum if this is definitely necessary for jami to function?22:49
bandaliamurray, i think i had done that in an earlier reply of mine (where i also showed output from jami); but i can double check over the coming days to be sure22:52
amurraythanks22:53
bandalicheers22:53
mwhudsonogra: yeah some special fun there23:07
