[04:43] <gimpnixon> HI, i was in here earlier today asking a question about a setting in gnome-control-center, was refered to #control-center on GIMPnet, so I went over there and spoke with them regarding Settings>Accessability>Focus>Color Effects>Brightness. I'm getting closer to the knowledge i'm seeking. 
[04:45] <gimpnixon> So my question was how to adjust the Brightness function in the Colot Effects without turning on Focus Option, the Color Effect brightness handles red green and blue brightness, #control-center said that their api does not handle the application of the settings only the values. So i'm tryign to figure out what program in Ubuntu 21.04 handles the application of red  gren and blue color brightness

[04:47] <gimpnixon> as say Xgamma or Redshift was to X11. I am looking for the program used in 21.04 that adjust color brightness. the function exists native in 21.04 but i have no idea the program so i can play with it.

When I press the microsoft button the desktop goes to the "activities" state, the running applications displayed next to each other, but there is no text object two write na application or a filename, and it never gets out of this state.
