[03:56] <schnoodles> My kubuntu laptop has completely died which had 2 ssds. 1 x windows, 1 x kubuntu. So i have moved the kubuntu SSD to an external SSD enclosure and it mounts but for some reason I cannot boot from it.
[03:57] <schnoodles> Does anyone know what could be the reason? I assume the SSD would have all the needed stuff to boot from? I can boot from another usb which has kubuntu on.

[04:58] <schnoodles> Ok that did not work. Boot-Repair installed grub to the windows drive and didnt install properly. I Am thinking that I need to create a EFI partition on this SSD but not 100% sure.
