[00:09] OvenWerks do you think I should file a bug on the telegram-desktop app from ubuntu repo? [00:11] MauroGaspari[m]: I have no idea because I don't really know what is wrong :) [00:31] Ok, so my sound setup on US is solid. I tested it with all sort of apps. OBS, Teams, Skype, Element voice chat. And so on. All apps see the correct pulse bridges for output and input. Telegram flatpak package also works as intended, same as all other app. [00:32] Hmmm.... [00:32] * Eickmeyer[m] thinks an SRU might be in order [00:34] Eickmeyer: I think it is a bit specific to ubuntu studio and the correct wording will be important for the package mantainer to fully understand what the problem is and what needs to be done, yes? [00:34] Anyway, always happy to help. Please let me know if you want me to file bugs or if you want my help with screenshots and reports. Thanks Eickmeyer and OvenWerks [00:35] Mauro Gaspari: Perhaps, but if it's a bug in the Telegram package [00:38] Chances are it's just missing a build dep. [15:23] OvenWerks: per falktx in #lad: falktx merged zita-a2j/j2a as internal client for jack2 [15:23] Might be important. [16:52] Eickmeyer[m]: thanks for the heads up. I don't know if I will use that though. the external sw will still (always) work and will work no matter which version of jack is used (even PW) [19:42] Eickmeyer[m]: hmm never finished :P anyway, The problem with internal bits like this is that normally there can only be one of them. What would be of more interest to me would be the internalizing of a2jmidid where there is only ever one running.
