tripelbAnyone, I am considering The Lounge "modern irc client BUT it wants me to install node.js -> and that sounds like Win to me. So I will ask before installing.02:20
AndrioNode is not Windows dependent, if that's what you asked.02:20
Andriosudo apt install node02:21
AndrioOr nodejs or whatever it's actually named02:21
tree111hi. i'm trying to change keybind alt-click to something else in windows manager, but i cant find the setting. where can i find it?13:23
gnrptree111: Check out the "Granular settings of window management" (don'T know the English word)13:26
gnrpunder accessibility, you can set the button to be used13:26
tree111yeah, thank you gnrp. found it.  settings>windows manager tweaks>accessibility. then change "key used to grab and move windows" from alt to someting else, in my case, super. didnt cross my mind at all to check the accessibility tab :)13:40
tree111this is a curiosity question, not currently a problem i'm having. i recently had error "Failed to start Load AppArmor profiles" during boot. what happen was i deleted 100mb partition before windows partition, windows partition and 500mb partition before xubuntu partition. then i reinstall windows and reinstall grub using xubuntu liveusb. then the error start to show up. it doesnt show up all the time, but it happen often enough. i got14:19
tree111nnoyed so i just reinstall xubuntu to solve it.14:19
tree111the question is, is there anything else i could do instead to rectify the problem?14:20
tree111the chronological before it happen is windows broke>delete those 3 partition>install another xubuntu on that>delete it>trying to install windows on that. failed because the partition is on extended partition with existing xubuntu>use gparted on liveusb to pull it out and make it primary>reinstall windows>restore grub. yeah its crazy :-D14:31
remlinetree111: I wouldn't think the AppArmor error was related to the partition changes. Hmm...14:33
remlineI also tend to wonder... what is so great about Windows to go through all that hassle? :)14:33
tree111games. hahaha. i tend to play games on windows.14:38
remlinetree111: Fair enough. From what I hear, a lot of games work well with Wine or Proton these days.14:41
tree111yeah. the games works well on linux. i played them on linux before. the problem is its too well on my aging hardware. the driver doesnt allow me to go to lower settings. apart from certain in game settings. i was unable to change certain things like resolution and fps. i prefer to play with lower power consumption. the games works great however.14:45
remlinetree111: Neat! I've got old hardware, too. Widelands is about as much as my hardware can handle.14:48
