[06:44] Howdy! I am using Studio 20.04 on some somewhat unorthodox hardware and I'm very unfamiliar with Plasma. Can I run 21.04 with OpenGL version of 2.1? KDEs website is a mess :-/ [06:48] hondje, You can try before you install; https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/try-ubuntu-before-you-install (this applies to flavors as well as main Ubuntu) [06:49] guiverc That's a good answer, but I have a 32bit EFI so I can't test it on bare metal easily [06:53] I can't provide a better answer sorry; Ubuntu Studio is an official flavor so you could try #ubuntu if you don't get an answer here [07:06] Thank you :-)   Ubuntu Studio is awesome [10:41] You can switch compositor and choose opengl3.1, opengl2.0, and xrender. [13:59] hi [14:04] hi === AppAraat[m]2 is now known as AppAraat[m] [16:50] does ubuntu studio hirsute hippo xfce exist? [16:51] hello, i'm sorry [17:17] Fresh install of Ubuntu 21.04. I installed Ubuntu Studio installer and used it to install lowlatency kernel and ubuntustudio-performance-tweaks. For some reason, the Pulseaudio --> Jack bridge is not working for me at the moment. This was working fine on my previous install of Pop OS 20.10. [17:17] How can I troubleshoot the Pulseaudio --> Jack bridge? I just found out something that could be useful for development. sink_client_name="Sink\ Name" and sink_properties="\"Device Name\"" can make spaces possible in these, so no more need for "Sink_Name" and "Device_Name" [20:39] (Also they did mention that single quotes sink_client_name='Sink\ Name' ) [20:40] (er, is preferable) [20:44] Er, wait, sorry, need to get clarification on something about the single and double quotes, hold up [23:14] Kraus: I will not be adding spaces to names for ports, filenames, etc. [23:15] OvenWerks: Specifically I was thinking about source_client_name= and sink_client_name= because that's what shows in Graph and Carla. [23:17] spaces are bad [23:17] Ohwell, suit yourself, just wanted to share that there was a way to properly format things like Pulse does. Carry on! :) [23:17] spaces make all kinds of things harder or impossible
