ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> Hi, I'm trying to download impish. If I use .zsync from cdimages site, I get error "...could not read control file from URL http**s**://cdimage.ubuntu.com/.....". If I change the URL to only 'http', it is working.00:30
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> Hi, I'm trying to download impish. If I use .zsync from cdimages site, I get error "...could not read control file from URL https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/.....". If I change the URL to only 'http', it is working. (edited)00:31
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> This is happening for all flavors (impish or still hirsute).00:36
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <kc2bez> zsync doesn't have https support.00:48
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> Shouldn't the link address on the download (/daily-live) pages be changed to just 'http' instead of 'https'?00:50
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <madhens> This is an issue IS is working on. I hope it's fixed soon, preferably by the time I wake up! I'm going to bed but I'll check in tomorrow (for me) morning.04:22

ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> @RikMills, on today's (impish) daily build the timezone on the map as well as text fields match.14:50
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> lotuspsychje: FYI too, in case you want to check, as you reported same issue. (re @saivinob: )14:50
lotuspsychjesaivinob: tnx maybe they can add impish tags on that current bug then if you remembered ID?14:52
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <RikMills> Yeah, I fixed that on the Kubuntu side.14:52

ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> ☺️ Thank you.14:53
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> I have issue with Kubuntu install onto a laptop (currently impish iso). The installer gets stuck at copying installation logs. If I close installer at this stage and reboot, I'm able to boot into installed system. This is not new though as I had faced it last week when I did 21.04 install on laptop. :15:57
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> Hmm...I think that is because I used 'Ventoy' on both occasions. On next install will try 'normal' way. 😀16:03
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <arunpyasi> Impish is not ready yet for testing I guess it's just started development. (re @saivinob: )17:58
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <saivinob> The issue I mentioned was also seen on hirsute install on my side. Will confirm if it is my USB issue or otherwise.18:18
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <DarinMiller> FWIW: Ventoy worked flawlessly for several test installations of Kubuntu 21.04.18:22
ubuntutestingbot[telegram] <philipz> I really need to get a USB for ventoy.21:55
