jamespage | cpaelzer: can I get a double check on whether my email to ubuntu-server@ yesterday actually got delivered | 08:07 |
---|---|---|
jamespage | I may have a slight issue with the sending email domain (I think)( | 08:07 |

rbasak | jamespage: ceph/armhf? I see that was delivered. Nothing in the moderation queue. | 09:03 |
jamespage | rbasak: lovely thanks | 09:04 |
rbasak | jamespage: I don't think the server team itself will care particularly, but there have been release team / archive admin types who are generally reluctant to do this kind of thing. Maybe ubuntu-devel@ would be bettr to reach them? | 09:07 |
jamespage | I'll email -devel as well then | 09:08 |
rbasak | Thanks! | 09:08 |
marlinc | Is there any reason for having fwupd in a virtual machine? | 10:28 |
tomreyn | i can't think of one | 11:31 |
marlinc | Right, it seems to be included by default in a lot of the VMs I have. Was thinking of removing it | 12:18 |
chaslinux | Trying to set up a pxe server to pxe boot using pxelinux.cfg/default. I keep getting a message that the config file cannot be found. Have symlinked ln -s /srv/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg /srv/tftpboot/bios/uefi/pxelinux.cfg so thinking it should see the default file in pxelinux.cfg. Also have apache directives setting /srv/tftpboot as default directory. | 14:25 |
chaslinux | It does download the NBP image, but then I get the config file error. | 14:25 |
chaslinux | Missing something obvious I think... | 14:25 |
chaslinux | So it's the symbolic link that's the issue... when I deleted the symlink and copied the directory plus the default to /srv/tftpboot/bios/uefi things worked. | 14:55 |
