Just sharing what that was if it might be interesting or helpful to anyone in the future [23:07] The reason was… NVIDIA, which has stopped supporting old version (340) for new Linux kernels (5.4+). nvidia-340 package for hirsute is just empty, no files. And Version 340 was the last which supported my 8400 GS Rev. 2. Finally found someone who has created a patched version of nvidia-340 driver for new kernel. Ta-dah
